My Students

I want my students to be excited to come to school everyday. If you were to take a tour around my classroom, you would see a classroom that screams, "Learning is fun and exciting!"

I have a wonderful group of 6-7 years old.

When they see an opportunity to help someone in need, they jump right on with no questions asked. As we transition to an e-STEM school, I want to students to have the opportunity to engage in technology to enhance their learning. They get excited about technology and want to use it more in their everyday learning.

My Project

An iPad will help my students be able to have another reason to want to learn. I could use this to help ALL my students develop and enhance their current mathematical and literacy skills. Students will be able to conduct research projects and create videos. Students will use the iPad daily during math and literacy block. Along with the development of motor skills that comes from hands-on learning, improved literacy and achievement will make this a very worthwhile investment. The iPad would allow for individual practice and reinforcement of standard skills required of a first grader. With an iPad, students can work on activities at their own pace and at their own level. Research supports that the sooner the child gets individualized support, the more successful the child will be in the long run. You can make this happen!

Donations to the project will help my current and future students.

With this iPad, students will be engaged and eager to learn! It will provide students the opportunity who may not have any technology at home.
