My Students
I have future website creators, Lego engineers, and hydrologists my classroom. My 5th graders need to learn about STEM career fields that will change our world.
My up-coming 5th grade students are a group of fun-loving and growing learners!
We will be divided among 2 classes and meet daily for 1 hour. Our school is adopting a STEM-focus and we need resources to ensure that it is a meaningful transition! We are a public-school located in a rural Kentucky county. Approximately forty percent of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch services.
My Project
My students need hands-on learning opportunities to build a working knowledge of STEM career fields and projects. From electrical circuits to modern-day toy making, my students need access to the problems STEM scientists are trying solving. These STEM tubs provide the materials and opportunities for students to solve problems as engineers!
With these materials from Lakeshore Learning Resources, my students will explore and learn about careers in physics, engineering, and architecture!
Please help me teach my 5th graders about the potential and power of their ideas.
