My students need the books to improve to improve literacy, book bins, floor cushions and a rocking chair.

How do I get my students to be a readers? How can I get them started? How can make reading fun? My goal is to assist my students' in developing a joy of reading, to become independent readers, and to start them on a journey to become readers for life.
My school is a public school in a very low income community.
Most of my students are reading significantly below grade level and are without key fundamental reading skills. My students' families are passionate and hopeful that education can create more opportunities. At our school, we do not have the financial means to create classrooms with the same wonderful resources that are in the affluent neighborhoods. Nevertheless, my students are excited about school and motivated to learn.
My students need the books to improve to improve literacy, book bins, floor cushions and a rocking chair. I hope by gaining these materials, I can better assist my students and their love of reading. I will implement these books during independent reading, guided reading and so many more areas. They will gain confidence and fluency in reading. As a result, my students will continue to develop their reading skills and be able to make sense of the world he or she lives in. "My students will discover that reading is entering a world of imagination shared between reader and author and that reading is getting beyond the words of the story or the meaning underneath (Paul Kropp).".
My classroom has a very small and limited library.
Every child deserves a special bookshelf of truly excellent books to read and reread. A new leveled library will provide a variety of content and ensure that there are books for every reader despite the reading level. My students will be ecstatic about a diverse, full library and this library will allow them the freedom to choose books that interest them, as well as keep them engaged and motivated to develop a love of reading.
