They are technology exerts who need scaffolding to develop on their own and in groups.
REACH Leadership and STEAM Academy is a charter school in Riverside, California that focuses on closing the achievement gap through project-based learning.
My Project
Each time a concept is introduced, my students will HEAR me tell about it and SEE me modeling it by showing it on the easel. I can SHOW my students models and examples by writing on the larger easel for the whole group and on the smaller easel during small group time. Students can also show their ideas on the easel.
Having easels in my classroom will allow my visual learners to dig deeper into material.
All students can show their work after seeing it modeled by teacher. This easel will allow successful transfer of information in my second grade classroom.
