It is a chance for the kids to explore their own learning projects. Kids are designing, creating and innovating. It is awesome to see this kind of learning. Kids are passionate about their projects, and these projects make a big difference in their lives and the lives of those around them.
My Project
My students need a 3D Printing Pen and filament to explore architecture and design. A few of our students are working on projects that focus on design. Some are creating architectural designs that will be more sustainable than traditional architecture. Some are designing real solutions to real community problems. All of the kids are working on making their ideas a reality.
This is our second year doing 20% Time and the projects that we normally see are first-rate solutions to problems or creative ideas that the kids get to explore.
There is so much learning that occurs during 20% Time.
