My students need some basic supplies such as pencils, erasers, hand sanitizer and more and would greatly benefit from fluorescent light filters.

My Students

You know how bright those fluorescent bulbs are in classrooms? Well, my students with disabilities notice it ten times more than we do. I try to keep the lights off with ample lamp lighting and natural sunlight, but that is not always possible (weather, seasons, etc.).

I teach a diverse group of learners, ranging from 4th to 8th grade.

We are in a low socioeconomic area, and it is difficult for them to provide basic school supplies such as pencils and erasers. By giving them these basic tools, my students are able to focus on learning rather than on items they need.

My Project

Being a child with a disability can be difficult. Being a child with limited resources can be difficult as well. Imagine a child who fits into both categories. With your donation, these students will have the necessary tools for completing assignments, and also be able to do it in a learning conducive environment.

Any donation will be greatly appreciated.

I often spend my own money to help my underprivileged students. It is so exciting to see their eyes light up when they receive something as small as a pencil. With today's economy, I am not able to provide as much as I would like for them. Thank you for taking the time to consider our project.
