My students need new furniture and pillows for our recreational reading area. These bean bags and pillows will allow students to read comfortably and love being there.

Remember reading your favorite book? Were you curled up on a comfy chair or with comfortably pillows around you? My students love to read and I want to create an inviting, comfortable space for them to enjoy the books they love.
My students are a diverse group of children.
We are a PK-5 school with a wide range of nationalities represented. We have a thriving gifted program as well as serving those with special needs. Our students come from a variety of backgrounds and we are a Title I school. I allow students in my school to access the library at any time of day. Because of this, students are constantly streaming in and out of the library because of their love of reading. Many students come in daily.
My students love to go to the silent reading area in the Library. They use this area during class and outside of regular library class time. It's one of their favorite activities in the library. In fact, being able to read on the comfy chairs and pillows is considered a treat! The chairs and pillows in that area are in disrepair and need to be replaced, due to age. These new chairs and pillows will allow students to have an area where they can comfortably read their favorite books and enjoy their time in the library.
This project will improve my classroom by giving my students a place they want to be, doing an activity that helps them excel.
The more they read, the more they grow, the more they learn, the more they know. I want my students to love the library and this project will help achieve my goal.
