Clean Classroom Rug for First Graders!

My students need a warm clean rug to sit on when we have whole teaching time instead of dirty rug.

My Students

My school has great students. Our students come from several cultures and ELL backgrounds. My students enjoy learning many things. They are very energetic and wonderful to have in a classroom. We have 46% poverty in our elementary school and we do not a lot of extra money for extras. Their parents are involved in their education and want what's best for them. My parents donate as much as they can to our classroom, but a rug is more than they can donate.

My Project

My students need a clean rug to sit on when we have whole group learning. The rug we have now is 12 years old and is falling apart and will not get clean anymore. My students have to sit on the floor several times a day. The rug we have now isn't big enough for all my students. It bothers me that my students need to sit down on a dirty rug. Please help us get a clean rug for our classroom. My students would be very grateful for it. These students are wonderful and deserve a clean, warm rug.
