Have you ever felt alone? Like you are the only one in a group of people that was being bullied or left out? Sometimes student feel the same way and cannot work through to help themselves. With this bully proof system they will be able to do just that!
My Kindergarten students attend a urban charter school which is very sparse with its supplies.
At the beginning of the year we are supplied with a hook for each child, four tables, and 18 student chairs. Just enough to have 18 students sit at their tables, yet nothing more. My students are eager to learn and I would love to supply them with as much enrichment as possible.
My Project
Studies show that there is a 30-million-word deficit in young students who come from high poverty areas. The bullying kit will not only build their vocabulary but will also teach them how to deal with bullying situations! The students will not only enjoying this kit, but they will be creating life long skills that can change their lives. Any step to bridge this gap is a step in the right direction! Will you help?
