My Students

Unlike school libraries of the past, our media center is a busy, collaborative place where students come to work not only independently, but also on group projects.

Our students are very creative and involved!

They are always working on projects, whether digitally like movies and blog posts or more traditional like research papers and creative writing. Our school contains over 1100 students and is located in a northern suburb of Atlanta, Georgia.

My Project

We've worked hard to turn our former reference room into a collaborative space for students to work on projects and assignments. With the help of my colleges , we've built 4 collaborative tables that students can use to work on projects together by connecting their devices to large monitors. Now we need your help to reach the potential awesomeness that these tables hold! We'd also like to install a projection screen from the ceiling and need the mounts to make it happen. We already have the screen, we just need a way to attach it so the students can use it when they need it and put it away when its not in use.

By helping supply the requested HDMI cords, you will allow our students to work collaboratively on technology related assignments and projects.

They will be able to connect their BYOD technology to a large screen monitor so that group members can literally see the 'big picture'. The projection screen mounts will allow our students to share their work with the entire room when needed and then put the screen away when not in use.
