My Students

My students love to have books read aloud to them.

I teach second-grade at a title one school.

Our school is a diverse school. This year, I will have general ed and special ed students in my classroom. My students coming to me are on and below grade level in reading. They are hard workers, and are very eager to learn.

My Project

In my classroom, we use Daily 5 during language arts. One component of Daily 5 is listening to reading. We are in desperate need of books on cd. My students would use these books on cd to listen and follow along to books that are read to them during Daily 5.

The books on Cd's that I am requesting, will improve my classroom, by assisting my students with their reading.

My students will be able to hear what fluent reading sounds like, and enjoy some time listening to books.
