My students need art supplies, such as paint, brushes, sponges, paint cups, and easel paper, so they can use their imaginations to the fullest! My students are 5 years old and this is the greatest time in their lives to create!
My students love to paint and make crafts! I have the start of some supplies but would love to have a new set of paints, paintbrushes, and more!!
My students are five years old and some are just entering school for the first time this year!
From my experiences with former Kindergarten students, I've noticed that they love to use their imagination through arts and crafts. It would be wonderful for them to have these new tools to create wonders.
My Project
I have set up an art center with a table and bookshelf of supplies. They will be going to the art center daily. By having all new supplies on hand, they will be able to express themselves more effectively. I want my students to make the most of their Kindergarten experiences and take home an art craft everyday. My students do not have sturdy smocks to make messes and I find that I end up asking the art teacher upstairs for them. She only has enough for her classroom and sometimes the smocks are being occupied. Therefore, I would like my students to have smocks at their coveineince because we love to paint! Some students are not able to bring old t-shirts from home. At this time, I do not have any paint or new paintbrushes for my students. I've asked the parents of my students to bring paint if they can but I would like to have a year supply of my own.
By donating to my project, my students will have new fresh paint, paintbrushes, dry erase boards, sand and most importantly gluten free playdough!
Some students in the past have been gluten free and I want to keep my art center as safe as possible for my students. By having new paint and new art supplies will not only allow my students to express their creative side more efficiently; they will be able to have more materials on hand when needed. The smocks for every child will help alot!
