An iPad in a Physical Education Classroom!

My students need an iPad, case and keyboard to help with health and drug free programs at our school.

My Students

In today's society technology influences the way we live and how education is being taught in our classrooms. Many of my students have not sat down and played on a computer, iPad, or iPhone. Being exposed to technology, even in a Physical Education class is important to learning.

I have 530 students that attend an elementary school in a small town Louisiana.

The majority of my students come from middle class to low income families. My students are excited to learn and always up for new challenges with our new Common Core Standards.

My Project

There are many different types of interactive apps to help my students accomplish the objectives that are needed for health and drug free education. During small groups I am able to help a group of students with one skill, and at the same time our iPad would allow students to work independently while learning about healthy living patterns. An iPad with a keyboard and case could help us intertwine health topics and technology.

Technology is a very important way of life for every child.

My goal is the teach students about healthy and drug free lifestyles through the use of an iPad and apps. My students and I would appreciate any type of help that would bring an iPad, case and keyboard to our classroom
