My students need a tablet to learn educational skills through the resources avaliable through applications.

My Students

Have you ever wanted to help someone so bad, but felt like your hands were tied behind your back? This is the case with teaching Special Education and having low funding.

I have 6 students who have cognitive disabilities.

The disabilities range from moderate to severe. They continually struggle academically, socially, and physically. Everyday they come to school excited and ready to learn. They love school and are always smiling even though everyday can be a struggle for them.

My Project

This tablet would provide me with more resources. These resources can help me reach each student. There are many applications on the tablet that will benefit my students socially, academically, and help prepare for their future. Students with special needs deserve to have access to the best we can provide to them. Having technology at their fingertips will provide endless opportunities for success in school.

The tablet would provide the students with access to technology to help them through the general education curriculum, but also help them overall in all aspects of their lives.

The technology will help the students gain skills needed to be successful in life.
