Ah-Mazing Learning Charts!!!

My students need and absolutely love working on these Post-It note charts. They need the markers to be able to work on these throughout the room.

My Students

We are gearing up for a new school year!

I was lucky enough to be able to meet my students for this coming year last year. They are going to be a creative and great group of kids! Our school is a high poverty school. We strive to provide everything that our students need. A lot of this includes so much more than school supplies.

My Project

These Post It Note Charts are AHH--Mazing! I have used these in my room the past few years. In my classroom instruction doesn't just come from me. I try to teach my students that we are a team and that we can all learn from each other. So to incorporate this into my room, we use these charts and markers. They get into groups and they have to work together to complete the assignment. The markers are great because they do not bleed through the paper at all! If you walked into my room while these are being used, you would see groups of students laying everywhere! They love to lay in the floor, stand at the windows, and work at their tables together. Then you would be able to look around the room and see their charts hanging everywhere! They not only work to put information on the charts but they have to present it to the class as well. This involves every student and so many different types of learning are included too.

My students will be able to learn so many different ways and strategies with these charts.

They will learn teamwork and how to help each other. As a teacher, you know your students have learned the material when you can hear them discussing with other students on what to do. This is one of my favorite parts of teaching! These charts can be hung anywhere because the of the sticky line on the back. This allows my students to take pride in their learning and their work!
