Adventuras Through Spain!

My students need 25 travel guide books on Spain to help them better understand the culture, geography and communities in which they will be living for 10 days this spring.

My Students

I am organizing a language and cultural immersion trip for 30 of my Spanish students to Granada, Spain this spring. The cost of a trip like this is significant. The students, parents, and community are working hard to raise funds to help subsidize the cost of the trip. But, we need more help!

I teach high school Spanish in Chicago.

I have a diverse group of 30 exceptional students who want to take what they have learned in the classroom and use it abroad! This group of students is not only bright, but more importantly, passionate about learning and enriching their Spanish studies. Please help my students take their Spanish to the next level!

My Project

I would love for my students to have guide books about Spain to help them better understand the culture, communities and geography where they will be traveling and living. However, the extra cost of the guide books adds to the daunting total we are trying to raise. Your support will not only help my students learn more about the city in which they will be residing, but also show them that what they are doing matters not only to themselves, but to others as well. They would be so appreciative to see that someone out there cares enough to help them take their Spanish to new heights. It will also show them that their efforts to raise much needed funds can come true. Your donation will further their goal of educating themselves about the world outside of their city and country.

My goal is to make culture accessible for my students by expanding their knowledge about past and present-day Spain, their people, beliefs and traditions.

These guide books will be of great benefit to my students on their road to becoming more culturally aware. Please help share with my students a rich and lively portrait of Spanish culture!
