Adjustable Computer Chairs Needed

My students need nine adjustable chairs for computer stations. Students range in height from 5 ft. to 6 ft.+ and my current one-size-fits-all chairs are uncomfortable.

My Students

The sign on my classroom door says, "Imagine, Design, Create". That sums up what goes on all day in my computer classroom for my Desktop Publishing and Digital Tech classes. It would be wonderful if students had adjustable chairs so that they could use the computer at a comfortable height.

Our school is your typical suburban community located minutes from our beautiful Capitol in Madison, WI.

Students in my school are motivated, polite and conscientious. I tell them they are geniuses and that the world needs their contributions. I know they will follow through on that!

My Project

I teach in a classroom of 24 computers. Students spend the entire hour on the computer either following my demonstrations or working and creating on their own. I know that the current "one-size-fits-all" chairs I have are not ergonomically correct. I want to protect their well-being while offering them a more comfortable seating option. While the 9 chairs I have requested here will only make a dent, at least I am providing options for students to work safely and comfortably at their computers.

The current chairs I have do not adjust for students who may range from 5 ft to 6 ft+ tall.

I don't like that they may be suffering neck, wrist and back pain from sitting at the computers in my classroom. I would like to offer them a safe and comfortable environment so that they can get their creative brains going!
