I have a very active class of students. Many of them have a hard time focusing because they have so much energy. I am hoping these alternative seating tools will help them stay engaged in the lesson and their work. My hope is to see if these work and if they do apply for more! Thank you!
My students are extremely smart, however many of them can have a difficult time unlocking their knowledge and brain power because of their inability to focus.
While we are a school dedicated to being very active and there are times when students must be in their seats. I know my students would be extremely appreciative of these seats.
My Project
My students will be using these seats when they are learning and engaging in the fourth grade curriculum. These seats will allow them to focus on what is being taught, or what they are doing in writing, reading, math, science and social studies. These seats will allow them to fidget and move throughout the day so that they can focus on what really matters.
This project will make a difference for the students that have attention difficulty by showing them that they can learn, giving them self confidence once they start to have more success in the classroom, and by allowing them to focus.
