My students need stampers, colored pencils, markers, paint, and paper for their writing center, as well as a laminator to protect and display their art work.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are creative and have huge imaginations. The writing center in my classroom is a place where students are able to think outside the box and create new and unique pieces of art or writing.
My students are energetic, creative, and love to learn.
My school is Title One, which means many students live in poverty. Nevertheless, my school takes pride in all students, giving them the tools that they need to succeed despite their home life or location.
My Project
With these exciting new writing materials, students will be able to bring their artwork and writing to life. They will be able to create works of art using dot paint stampers, colored construction paper, and markers, and their work will be laminated for durability. The rolling cart will be used to house their writing and art supplies, providing students with a sense of independence and ownership of their tools.
This donation will allow students to be more creative in my classroom.
They will go to the writing center daily and be given opportunities to think outside the box using their new tools. They will have a sense of pride seeing their creations displayed for all to see.
