Our PreK-5th grade school is one of the feeder schools in town.
We have over 500 wonderful students here! I am a Pre-K teacher who has taught other grade levels in the past. Though it is not easy, our school is one that works hard to bring technology to our students. Our students truly love and embrace the technology resources we have.
My Project
Without a doubt, we live in a world filled with technology unlike ever before. At times, though, it is difficult for schools to receive additional funding for extra resources. Next year, I'd like to bring Boogie Boards with sleeves to my classroom centers.
I offer technology lessons to my Pre-K students daily. I feel that this would be an asset to my classroom. In Pre-K classrooms, students learn A is for Apple, etc. I'd like for the "B" to be for Boogie Boards! What is a Boogie Board? A Boogie Board is a revolutionary Reflex LCD 8.5 eWriter (tablet) which retains an image indefinitely.
My students love art. As a teacher, I love "Empowering Students Through Art." This would help my creative students with academics, as well as daily art activities. I know it could be great for children to practice writing. They could use it for art and ELA skills, too. I could also place them in centers for writing practice, practicing ELA (alphabet) and math (number) practice, too.
