My Students

Obviously, we live in a technology-driven world filled with devices students love. At this point, I would love my students to have not only an iPad, but a "Comfy iPad Corner" where they would work in an iPad center. A is for Apple, B is for Ball and C is for a "Comfy iPad Corner!" Would you help us?

Our Pre K-5th grade school is one of the feeder schools in town.

We have over 500 wonderful students here! I am a Pre-K teacher who has taught other grade levels in the past. Though it is not easy, our school is one that works hard to bring technology to our students. Our students truly love and embrace technology resources we have.

My Project

Without a doubt, we live in a world filled with technology unlike ever before. At times, though, it is difficult for schools to receive additional funding for extra resources. I offer technology lessons to my Pre-K students daily. My goal this year is to implement another tablet to our classroom. Our school currently has our own iPad app website, I can see how many great apps are out there. I would place an iPad in one "Comfy Corner" center. In Pre-K classrooms they learn, A is for Apple, B is for Ball and C is for a "Comfy iPad Corner!" With help in purchasing an iPad mini 3, case and a "Comfy Corner" set up, my students and I could use it daily during center time. My goal is to create a quiet, cozy and "comfy" iPad center! The set up includes wooden storage that holds the iPads, plus a comfy padded seating area for up to 2 children and 3 foam seating pieces. This would be a perfect and safe environment for my students to engage in their iPad activities daily. My students would love it!
