My Students

As a recent college graduate and first year teacher, I'm lacking some materials that could enhance learning for my students. I will teaching kindergarten in a district that is implementing full-day kindergarten. Kindergarten is such an influential year in a student's educational growth and development.

My students are eager, excited, and curious 5 year-olds who have their whole educational path ahead of them.

As a kindergarten teacher, I take pride in knowing that their experience in my classroom could help shape the future. For this reason, I want to be able to give my students as many opportunities as possible to explore all the disciplines education has to offer.

My Project

Going from half-day to full-day kindergarten, my students will have the opportunity to further dive into subjects that would otherwise have significant less time devoted to them. With STEM materials in the classroom, students would be able to explore, learn, and create. My students need STEM materials like a Lakeshore Gear Building Set, Design & Building Engineering Centers, and a Fairy Tale Problem Solving STEM Kit.

Donations to my classroom will benefit my students by giving them a wide variety of STEM materials to explore with.

Giving my students these opportunities, could spark something inside a student that could benefit their whole education.
