My class consist of 20 vibrant 2nd graders. Our class is lively and eager to learn. I teach in a county located near a military base. Majority of my students come from military families and live on a military base. Thankfully, their moms and dads serve our nation. Their families are deployed for some or all of the school year. I try to supply my students with structure and routine at school to keep that portion of their lives routine.
