Hi! Welcome to my DonorsChoose webpage. I've been teaching for over 15 years now! It's amazing how time flies when you're doing what you love to do. I teach at the same elementary school district that I went to as a child. I teach a bilingual classroom and all my students are English Language Learners. Our school is surrounded 360 degrees by agriculture fields and many of my student's parents work there. The best thing about my job is that I'm making a difference in my community. I have a strong connection to this community since I grew up here! The people are wonderful and my kids are wonderful. I hope to spark curiosity in my students and instill in them them the confidence to pursue their dreams. My students remind me so much of myself as a child and if I did it, they can too! I thank you for taking the time to view my projects and making a difference in my students education.
