My classroom consists of 25 students. We are in an urban school district where the population is 97% minority. Over 60% of our students are eligible for free and reduced lunch. Our school is a caring school with high expectations for each student. They are actively involved with the community. We have lots of fund raisers and support various organizations because we believe giving back to our community is important. The love of reading and writing is very evident across all grade levels. These children have big dreams and work hard!
