I teach K-5 students in a very high poverty inner city school. Many of my kids have very troubled home lives, but they don't let it get in their way. My students are incredibly talented individuals who have a zest for life that is contagious. While they love all of our activities in music, they are most engaged and excited to learn when they have an instrument in their hands!
