The students at our school show perseverance through tough times. They are eager to learn and engage with students, staff, and guests in our school. The building structure is several decades old and requires general fund money to maintain. We struggle to find extra funds for new teachers, like myself, to supply proper materials. My first grade class currently shares materials with three other classes. As you can imagine, that means it requires coordination and give and take to reach all first graders. We are thankful for the opportunity to receive our own class set.

About my class
