I teach 20 incredible 3rd graders in the heart of Kansas. We are a school of about 275 students, with 60% low SES. Many of my students have never traveled outside of Kansas, or even outside of our city. Technology can open up the entire world for my students, and give them opportunities to learn in ways they can not even imagine. Every student brings something unique and special to our classroom. We have artists, actors and actresses, musicians, storytellers, and more. Using technology, specifically iPads, I can teach each student in the way that they learn best, and give them the creative space to grow in their own way.
