There is a thriving environment of computer coders and "Makers" at the Wyomissing Area Junior/Senior High School. A few years ago our wood shop was removed and several courses were eliminated with the pressure to place emphasis on core math and English instruction. My projects are meant to bring back exciting technologies and learning opportunities that are especially appealing to girls and, overall, a broader population of students that would not otherwise find themselves in classes that used to be labeled for "nerds."

About my class
