Welcome to my project page. I teach preschool aged children with disabilities. My classroom is positive, interactive, with a structured environment . This helps students feel safe to take on new opportunities and challenges. My classroom is the first school experience for many of the children. Most of the children are learning social skills, self awareness, independence, communication, following directions, inhibiting impulsive behaviors, and fine/gross motor skills. I also work closely with families to keep consistency among school and home. My hope is that with the right tools, I will continue to provide the children with a solid foundation for school readiness.
