I teach biology and environmental science in a small public school, mostly freshman in biology and juniors and seniors in environmental science. They all "walk" to school and live in our borough. We are in PA and have a large population of students who speak English as a second language. About 70% of our students are in the free and reduced price lunch program. Our students are wonderful! This is the reason teachers continually go above and beyond to support them an any way possible. Even as teenagers, they are thankful and appreciative for the things we do for them and are a joy to work with!
