On May 22, 2011, exactly one year ago, the town of Joplin, Missouri was hit by a tornado. Over 260 classrooms were destroyed.
The DonorsChoose.org community came to the rescue, donating classroom furniture, first aid kits, technology, musical instruments, and books, just in time for the first day of school.
One year later, there are still teachers and students who desperately need your help. On this anniversary, join us in supporting a Joplin classroom. A little bit of hope goes a long way.
