Our students are kind, hardworking, curious, and excellent with new technology such as web based programs, iPhones, mp3's, etc. We are a diverse student body of 2000 and our goal is to create college ready, 21st century learners. Our students appreciate the opportunities we provide them. Coming from a variety of economic backgrounds, our staff of 135 do our best to advocate for all of our students. Students have recently been feeling the duress of recent budget constraints. They no longer receive agenda books, have printing restraints, and even have some sports "pay to play". As a large city school, not having enough pencils and paper for students is a travesty. By utilizing more technology, we can not only make the best of bad budget times, but create/encourage a "green" environment. Students do not deserve to suffer for the ill decisions made by others.
