I have a wonderful group of high needs students. I have students who are 2 or more grade levels behind, and I have students who are well beyond the 5th grade level. I have to differentiate on a daily basis. The school they attend used to be a chocolate factory so the rooms are odd shaped and not always the most functional. 76% of them get free or reduced lunch so it is very common for teachers to have to provide them with all their school materials. Since technology is the future, I expose them to all sorts of ways they can investigate and research.
