My students are mostly 9-12 students who attend a public school in Iowa. We are working on creating an environment in which students are not restricted to traditional setting including all alike chairs and tables. Why changing the environment, we are encouraging students to problem solve, thinking critically, and become world leaders. With the increased demand of technology in the real world and the budget cuts of education, my students want to be creative but do not always have all the resources available. They are eager to learn and produce their own renditions of what they learn in class. Coming from a somewhat rural setting, students love the opportunity to grow as individuals and using technology is one way to connect them to the whole world.
