A fascination with ancient Egypt usually starts at an early age and is often kindled by a great teacher who brings the ancient culture to life in the minds of his or her students. That's what got me started in Egyptology and is partially inspired me to start <a href = 'http://www.glyphdoctors.com'>Glyphdoctors</a>, a Web site that offers online courses in Egyptology and hieroglyphs to anyone with a fascination with ancient Egypt. Our enrollees come from a dozen countries around the world and range from doctors to retirees to engineers to students and even teachers looking to increase their knowledge in their classroom. They are pursuing their interest in Egyptology from wherever they are around the globe. But there are other future Egyptologists out there who are not so fortunate. They attend schools where funds are short, but interest in ancient Egypt is high. Glyphdoctors encourages you to consider donating to the following projects. All of these teachers are interested in exposing their eager students to the wonders of ancient Egypt, but they need your help to meet their goals. You can choose to donate to one of the specific projects listed below or the general fund, which will also be distributed to one or more of these projects. Who knows? Maybe one of these students will fulfill their dreams to become the next Kent Weeks, Mark Lehner or Zahi Hawass!
