Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

Our school is a K-8 urban charter school. Our enrollment consists of more than 90% of students that qualify for free or reduced lunches and/or Title I services.

Our school recently acquired 2 laptops for each classroom. This will assist students in completing writing assignments in a timely manner. The only problem is that the laptops will be shared across the whole grade level. Students need to be be able to save their work on a flash drive so that they can return to their work at any other computer in the building.

Flash drives will aide our students in completing their writing assignments. Instead of having to always complete their assignment on the same computer, if they can save their work on a flash drive, they can complete their assignments on any available computer in the building.

Your gift will assist our students as they better develop their writing skills in all grade levels and subject areas.
