Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I would like to have a set of ten micro-sliders with a carry case. Also, I would like a class set of slides for my students to use with their mirco-sliders. The sets that I would like are Egg to Chick and Tadpole to Frog. I already have some micro-sliders to use in my Science lab for grades PK, K, and 1st, but I would really like it if each student could have their own to look into. Whenever the students look into these child friendly microscopes, their eyes get big and they get very excited about the topic we are studying. I use these microscopes to teach my young students how be like a scientist. They learn how to handle microscopes correctly, practice using them, observe, record, and even ask questions. All of these are important skills for young scientists.
