Each year I teach a unit on constellations and the students in my fifth grade class love it! They love the Greek mythology, Native American tales, and even making up their own creative stories. We have a great time. I even have a wonderful resource book called "Children's Night Atlas" about the constellations. The children literally argue to get a turn looking at the colorful pictures. They pass it around so often that it is getting worn out. I would love to be able to offer more copies of this wonderful book to my Science classes (I teach it three times a day to all fifth grade-90 students). I think that I could base several lessons out of this book. It could be a very useful tool if I could have one book for each group of partners. That would be a total of 15 books! If you love Science as much as we do and you can help us get our head "in the stars" we would really appreciate it. Thanks!!
