My students need basic supplies for our newly acquired aquarium and would love to add additional animals to a beginning ecosystem!

My Students
Do you remember the excitement of having a classroom pet? Our class was able to get a beginning aquarium set and I have slowly begun to add to our ecosystem. My students and I would love to expand our new class pet family in order to understand basic life science concepts.
I am currently teaching a group of precocious 9 and 10 year olds.
Currently I have 23 students in my 4th grade class in Oregon. We are in a rural community known for excitement outdoors. I teach at a Title- 1 school and many students aren't able to have pets of their own.
My Project
With donations, my students and I will be able to learn and care for our pets. Developing a spurring aquatic ecosystem is vital for students to learn about the life cycle, plants and basic needs of animals. Currently we have 2 fish but expanding our aquarium will help us learn about additional species and what it takes to care for them on a daily basis.
Please support our project!
This is the perfect opportunity to support a rural school and encourage students about care for the world outdoors. This is an extremely relevant project to our curriculum and students look forward to any additional animals we can add to our ecosystem. Thanks for your consideration!
