Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Not all photos are worth a thousand words, but my students' are. Incredibly talented, they artfully use photography to reflect about their own lives and tell their own stories. They need a photo quality printer to showcase those amazing photos and stories.

My VERY deserving students live in an impoverished area of Los Angeles.
Their lives are full of challenges, yet they are full of life, positive spirit, and pride for their community.
Photography and its ability to help tell the stories of their community and culture, helps reinforce the positive and eliminate the negative in their lives.
My Project
These beginning photo students are so good at what they do, they recently exhibited at the Getty Museum and inspired hundreds of people including some with dozens of years of professional expertise in photography.
Yet, they don't have a photo quality printer to display work to our own school community.
Please help us acquire this essential tool!
