My Students
"Something to be proud of" is a phrase my students hear everyday. They are encouraged to dream big, work hard, and take pride in who they are.
I teach a self-contained class of 9th-12th grade high school students with mental and physical disabilities.
Most of the students in my classroom come from low income families yet have hearts that fill the room with excitement to learn and strength to achieve all of their dreams. These students are motivating, challenging, and the reason I love being a teacher.
My Project
My students need new and exciting resources to challenge them in a variety of ways. We need new read-along materials for our classroom listening center, motivating math and science manipulatives, and other activities to challenge us everyday. We want to have fun learning! Please, help my students get new activities and manipulatives to motivate them to learn!
By supporting this project, you are helping a classroom of wonderful students who deserve the very best.
Each item in this project is definitely a need for my students in order to learn, grow, and take pride in the goals they are achieving each and every day!
