My Students
How AWESOME would it be to download a weekly podcast made by a fifth grader?
My students are amazing!
They are creative, funny, independent and smart. They are very verbal, and love to see their work on display, and I am really looking forward to giving them the opportunity to make these podcasts. The school is located in a one of the most diverse areas in Washington State.
My Project
By having these digital audio recorders, my fifth graders will get to write and record weekly podcasts for their families and community. Students will speak up about what they have learned over the course of the week in science and social studies. During our poetry unit, we will record our poems! The possibilities are endless!
I have a class blog that is followed by the parents and students in the class.
My hope is that this project will really put a student "voice" on the blog. I really cannot think of a better way to show how much a child is learning in school than to listen to the students themselves!
