My students need a Hands-On Instant Science Activity Library to aid in their science learning.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. M.'s classroom raised $196

My Students
Do you remember what it was like when you did a science experiment in school? Wasn't it one of the very best days of science class? That knowledge was solidified because you got to work with it. Now imagine a classroom with no science materials. Would you have enjoyed it?
I have the honor of teaching students with cognitive disabilities.
All of my students receive free lunch. All of my students LOVE science and get a lot out of experiments. Because of their disabilities, my students learn best by experimentation and not from reading or listening. However due to budget limitations, doing quality experiments in the classroom is sometimes impossible.
My Project
I am requesting a hands-on science activity center. This center covers 8 different topics in science that have experiments connected to them. My students will be able to do activities that will help solidify the knowledge that I am trying to teach them. It will keep them engaged and motivated to learn! This knowledge will transfer into reading and writing activities to further help their learning.
Students with disabilities are just that- students.
They deserve to learn and have materials to help them achieve their academic goals just like their regular education peers. Unfortunately, students with disabilities are often at the bottom of the resource totem pole. With your help and generosity they will have a better education.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
