My Students

I like to think that students enjoy coming to my room. This year however, I have the interesting job of making three sections of 4th grade math interesting! This is no easy feat.

My students are very inquisitive and interested in hands-on experiences and using technology.

Unfortunately at our low-income, small town elementary school, materials and resources are sometimes hard to come by in this tough economic time. The kids work hard and are excited about the possibility of having some technology IN THEIR OWN HANDS!

My Project

What I'm asking for is very simple. One Apple iPod Touch for them to share and use during Math. You don't have to spend very much time at the iTunes App store to see that there are hundreds and hundreds of great math games, videos, and lessons available. Most of them free! The kids will be able to take the math lesson learned and then practice the concept in a fun way.

Would you consider helping me to inspire the students and create a love for math for each and every 4th grader in my school?

Not just for this school year, but for years and years to come! Thank you so much.
