My Students

New ideas for teaching students are accentual to the changing times. The new teacher resource books I am requesting will allow me new and fresh craft and science ideas to use in my classroom. It is important to keep learning new, fun, and exciting.

I teach 23 inquisitive, outgoing, first grade boys and girls in a small community in East Texas.

Over 60% of my students are on free and reduced lunch and over 65% come from economically challenged homes. I want the best for my students in life and in their education.

My Project

I want to make sure my students have new and exciting arts and crafts activities and materials to use in my classroom. Kids need time in their day to show off their creativity. Also science is so exciting and fun when learned hands-on. The new science resource book you will be providing for my classroom contains new and innovative hands-on science experiments and activities to aid in teaching science concepts to my students. The teacher resources books I am asking for will provide a new curriculum ideas for my students.

Teachers need tools too.

When you have taught in 1 grade level for several years you get use it doing the same activities each year. I like change and I am excited about the new and innovative changes these resource books and craft materials will bring to my classroom.
