My Students

Can you imagine what it would be like if you were unable to name things you encounter in your everyday life? The best you could say is "it's...it's..." with no words to follow. My students struggle to learn the words of everyday objects and items and would love your help to learn in an interactive manner.

My kindergarten students attend an elementary school in in the suburbs of northern Delaware.

The children come from various backgrounds. The classroom is made up of children who have all different strengths and weaknesses and all have a common bond of being diagnosed with autism.

My Project

My students need technology access to improve their expressive vocabulary, social skills, and play skills. We need your help to help us obtain this technology for our classroom. The children love using technology and interactive activities increase their desire to speak and learn in the classroom!

Your support in helping me purchase this new technology will allow my students to soar.

The iPad is a fabulous tool that can address numerous obstacles that my students encounter on a daily basis. The iPad will allow me to introduce the students to a wider variety of vocabulary and language activities. Please help me acquire these learning tools to add to the lives of my kindergarten students.
