Do you remember what is was like the first time you learned about the complex systems of the human body? Was it confusing to remember the difference between the large and small intestine? The trachea and esophagus? My students would greatly benefit from a life sized model of the human torso to study human anatomy.
My students attend a gifted and talented public school in NY.
They are extremely intelligent, inquisitive, creative, and love to learn through models.
My students come from many different backgrounds and are all very unique. However, the one thing they have in common is that they are eager to learn about science and technology. They continue to ask questions to deepen their understanding of biology on a daily basis.
My Project
A life sized model of the human torso will expose my students to the anatomy and physiology of the human body. This is a hands on learning tool that will give my students the opportunity to analyze the nervous, respiratory, circulatory, digestive, and excretory systems much more closely.
I am lucky that my students constantly ask questions and are eager to learn more.
Biology is a growing area of science and many of my students are eager to pursue careers in this field in the future. Please help me provide my students with the resources necessary to foster their love of biology.
