My Students

Our high school is an inner-city Chicago Public School. Many of our Students live below the poverty level, if not homeless living in shelters.

Our Students represent our neighborhood with pride and true passion.

These Student-Athletes dedicate themselves to being the best of the best, attempting to show to their colleagues, a true example for allure Students donate their time within the neighborhood, farmers market, clean up along Lake Michigan, etc. The neighborhood is very important to them, due to the fact the community does come to our football games.

My Project

We practice half of a mile away from the school. Since school is closed by the end of practice, many of our Students bring their equipment home every night. For the Students who live in shelters, it becomes more difficult to bring their equipment with them. The shed will allow Students to put their equipment in a secure spot.

These items will help secure our program and its equipment.

As Coaches we try our best to provide for our Student-Athletes. The items we chose will allow us to spend our funds on other needed essentials for our Students, food, notebooks, pens, knee pads, mouth guards, etc.
