It's Raining, It's Pouring... Indoor Recess Is Boring!

My students need games to entertain and challenge them when we are stuck inside due to rain or cold weather.

My Students

Do you remember being stuck inside for months at a time during the cold winter months or the rainy spring weeks? My students need games that will entertain and challenge them during this recess time.

Our school is in a high-poverty area.

It is imperative that our students learn good social interaction. I believe that having classroom games can help provide these opportunities for the students during free play recess time. I want to provide these kids with games to play that will challenge and entertain them.

My Project

Free play during recess times helps these students learn to work toward a goal, interact with other students, play on a team, and resolve disagreements. We currently don't have any games in our classroom that students can play during indoor recesses. This make our free play time a dreaded event rather than a time they can have fun. Let's change that for my students!

My students love to play, please help them to see that there are fun, productive, and challenging things to do indoors when the weather keeps up in.

Help my students to see that indoor recess doesn't have to be boring.
